Charles Liang
Founder & CEO
Inspired by The Day After Tomorrow, I set out to embed Green Computing principles into the tech industry, ensuring efficiency and sustainability are both achieved in the cutting-edge data Center and AI infrastructures. Building on this vision, I founded the Green Earth Foundation with my family, advancing reforestation and drought-resistant species research to create lasting environmental impact worldwide.

With my horticulture & agronomy academic background, I take care of the redwoods and giant sequoias on our Silicon Valley campus, and my research interests include plant–water relations, especially tree physiology and phenology. Nevertheless, I’m also a licensed Pest Control Advisor in the state of California.

Jennie has been volunteering with the Green Earth Foundation since 2024. She loves documenting Green Earth Foundation's planting progress, creating digital content, and meeting new people during her visits to planting sites all around the world.

Jean Chao
Sahara Reforestation Project Lead
Trained in horticulture, I enjoy planting trees, hiking, and camping. I proudly call myself a “Tree Hugger”. Planting in the Sahel region means facing the challenges brought by severe weather, lack of water source, and a lot of times manmade erosion to the land. Hence, I’m grateful to work with so many passionate minds under these extreme environmental struggles.
