Charles Liang Receives 2025 Compassion Award for Global Sustainability Leadership

We are delighted to share that Charles Liang, Founder and CEO of Green Earth Liang’s Inc., has been honored with the 20th Compassion Award. This prestigious recognition celebrates individuals and organizations around the world who have made outstanding contributions to humanity, public welfare, and global well-being. Mr. Liang’s long-standing commitment to sustainable technology, low-carbon innovation, and environmental stewardship long led the mission of the Green Earth Foundation, and we are truly proud to celebrate this milestone with him.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Mr. Lin (林添茂先生), alumnus of the National Taipei University of Technology (NTUT) and founder of the HK & Macau Taiwanese Charity Fund Ltd., for nominating Mr. Liang for this award. We are equally grateful for the unwavering support of the NTUT Hong Kong Alumni Association and the NTUT Taiwan Alumni Association, whose collective efforts made this recognition possible.

We also congratulate the other distinguished awardees of this year’s 20th Compassion Award, each of whom has demonstrated exceptional dedication to charitable work and positive impact in communities across the globe. It is an honor to stand alongside these compassionate leaders in advancing meaningful change. 

In a meaningful gesture that reflects his lifelong commitment to the planet, Mr. Liang has pledged to donate the full prize funds to the Green Earth Foundation (Green Earth Liang’s Inc.). This contribution will directly support our future initiatives to plant more drought-resistant vegetation across regions surrounding the Sahara Desert, helping restore ecosystems, improve soil resilience, and advance long-term climate adaptation.

As Mr. Liang was unable to attend the ceremony in person in Hong Kong, the award was graciously accepted on his behalf by his daughter, Ms. Christina Liang. In her remarks, Christina reflected on her family’s enduring dedication to philanthropy and sustainable innovation, emphasizing the values of compassion, responsibility, and long-term commitment to environmental action.
